The International Publishers Association (IPA) and the Norwegian Publishers Association (NPA) have taken the difficult decision to cancel the 33rd International Publishers Congress which was scheduled to be held in Lillehammer, Norway, from 28-30 May 2020.

Hachette Global CEO, Arnaud Nourry and distinguished novelist, Alaa Al Aswany to speak at 31st International Publishers Congress at The London Book Fair 2016.

The 31st International Publishers Congress has announced that Arnaud Nourry and Alaa Al Aswany will be keynote speakers at the 31st Congress in London in April 2016.

The Congress, which runs from 9-12 April 2016, will take place in London for the second time. It is organised by the International Publishers Association in partnership with the UK Publishers Association and The London Book Fair. The conference promises debate, analysis and networking at the most senior level across a comprehensive programme curated to address the key policy and practical issues of the day.

30th IPA Congress in 2014: It’s Bangkok!

At the end of the IPA Board Meeting held at WIPO Headquarters in Geneva on 23rd January 2012, IPA President YoungSuk “Y.S.” Chi announced that Bangkok, Thailand, was voted host of the 30th IPA Congress to be held in 2014. Bangkok will be World Book Capital 2013 from 23rd April 2013 until 22nd April 2014.
