On 4 November 2019 the sixth list of books for the UN SDG Book Club were announced. The list of titles in all six official UN languages, aimed at children aged 6-12, focuses on the sixth sustainable development goal – Clean water and sanitation.

Educational Publishing Seminar brings local and international publishers’ expertise to UAE
The two-day seminar organised in partnership between the International Publishers Association (IPA), Emirates Publishers Association (EPA) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Education will bring publishers and the ministry together to look at how publishers can support the Ministry of Education’s vision of innovative education for a pioneering and global knowledge society.

Africa in Action – International Publishers Association Commits to Concrete Action
40 African publishers’ associations gathered ahead of a two-day seminar in Nairobi as International Publishers Association signed Memoranda of Understanding with the African Publishers Network and the Association for the Development of Education in Africa to formalise the IPA’s commitment to the region.
IPA delegation visits Georgia for the book fair and other meetings
A high-level IPA delegation, consisting of President Hugo Setzer, Secretary General José Borghino and the Chair of the Educational Publishers Forum (EPF), Wilmar Diepgrond, visited Tbilisi, Georgia, from 29 May to 2 June, to attend the Tbilisi International Book Fair, among other activities.
