Bologna Children’s Book Fair wraps up online with BOP 2020 winner

The 57th Bologna Children’s Book Fair, held from 4-7 May 2020 as an online special edition after the cancellation of the physical event, wrapped up successfully with 60,000 online visitors.

Although the Bologna Children’s Book Fair has been cancelled, BCBF is launching a new online project to support the children’s book community including the award ceremony for the 2020 BOP (Bologna Prize for Best Children’s Publishers of the Year).

On 2 April 2019 at Bologna Children’s Book Fair, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Book Club released its first ever reading list of titles aimed at children age 6-12, to teach them about the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in all six official UN languages.
