ED5 receive award at London Book Fair

The 2019 winners of the ABC International Excellence Award for Accessible Publishing were announced at London Book Fair with EDITORIAL 5 (ED5) of Brazil taking the publisher category and eKitabu of Kenya winning the initiative category.

The short-list for the 2019 ABC International Excellence Award in Accessible Publishing was announced on 11 February. With 3 publishers, and 5 initiatives competing for the 2 awards, it will be a tough call to pick a winner for the announcement at the London Book Fair.

Alongside announcing great progress for the ABC Global Book Service with 42,000 additions to the catalogue, IPA VP-elect Bodour Al Qasimi signed an agreement with WIPO for accessibility training in the UAE and IPA President-elect, Hugo Setzer, stars in a short film explaining his support for accessible publishing.
