IPA’s President, Vice President and Secretary General followed up on their Asian tour of August with a trip to North America in September. The review of the Canadian Copyright Act, a meeting with senior representatives of IFLA, attending the AAP’s General Assembly plus the SDG Book Club were all on the agenda.
Kuala Lumpur announced as UNESCO World Book Capital City 2020

Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, has been confirmed as the 2020 UNESCO World Book Capital City to follow Athens (2018) and Sharjah (2019).
